PDF Inspector - Tune up your PDF links, metadata and more!

PDF Inspector is a powerful tool to create, edit and manage your links within a PDF. It quickly and clearly displays both internal and external links and lets you edit them with the click of a button. Alternatively, you can get an overview your links by exporting them to a CSV file -- making it easy to find duplicates, overlapping hotspots, missing destinations, and more. Additional tools in PDF Inspector manage metadata such as title, authors, and ISBN, plus brand-new metadata not available in traditional PDF programs like license, franchise, series, and creator. Prior to the release of PDF Inspector, youd need a high-priced software publishing program to edit this sort of PDF data, but now you can do it with a single, simple app. We’re still in the early stages of this app and want to hear from YOU about your experiences: bugs or successes. Please email [email protected] KEY FEATURES: Links: - Resolve common problems such as identical links that are next to each other, and need to be merged - Resolve issues with links to external web pages, such as dead links and links that redirect - Edit with color highlights that let you create or modify links through the on-screen text, while displaying the updated version in a thumbnail display within the PDF window - Display and edit the details of the link properties, and show their location and type (internal, external) on every page. Metadata: - Display and modify metadata from most adopted standards (including Dublin Core and XAP), as well as the extended CreativeInfo.org collection. - Duplicate metadata from one PDF to another inside of PDF Inspector and/or PDF Credits - Copy text version of PDF metadata to the clipboard for pasting e.g. into emails or chats – convenient for pinging colleagues for final proofreading of the PDF metadata.
